Identical twins have an entirely identical genetic profile because they originate from a single fertilized egg that split into two embryos at an early stage of development. In contrast, fraternal twins have a genetic makeup similar to that of regular siblings, as they result from the fertilization of two separate eggs by two different sperm cells.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The test analyzes specific DNA markers, comparing them to determine <strong>whether the twins have identical genetic information (monozygotic) or different genetic information (dizygotic).<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>2. Who is this test suitable for?<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The test is designed for twins and their parents who want to be certain whether the twins are identical or fraternal. How will the DNA test result help me, and what will I learn?<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The test results will clearly determine whether the twins have <strong>identical DNA (monozygotic) or different DNA (dizygotic)<\/strong>. VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, and Maestro cards are accepted. After a successful payment and order creation, you will receive a confirmation email.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bank transfer<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 After placing the order, you will receive a confirmation email with payment details (IBAN, variable symbol, amount). Test result \u2013 how long it takes, where it will be delivered<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The result of the DNA test will be sent to you <strong>by email no later than 5 business days<\/strong> after the samples are delivered to the laboratory, to the email address provided in your order. If you choose the option for a printed result in your order, we will also send the result by mail to the address you provided.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">If you need the test result earlier, the analysis in our laboratory can be prioritized for an\u00a0<strong>express surcharge (result within 3 working days).<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>8. Interpretation of the result<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Identical twins (monozygotic)<\/strong> - have identical DNA, which confirms their genetic similarity.
